19 OCTOBER 2008: LONDON BECKONS

Have had quite a busy couple of weeks organizing the exhibition and working along side this on other projects. I have got a few new images to post on the website, did a fantastic shoot last week at Andy Kruzcek's studio in Wednesbury, the model is after a new portfolio and we got four different locations within the one studio venue, mix of backdrop, wall space, stairways and outdoors around the location, its an old church hall so there are lots of old brick features and its in the process of being rennovated so great for some indoor derelict style shots. Hannah the model was fantastic, as were the team Jess Nurse on make up, Leighanne of Tete a Tete fame, and i had a lovely new assistant; Ross Brind, so thanks to him for assisting me for the first time. The energy was fab and we all created some great images. I love the collaborations that are involved with shoots like this!

I also did a talk on the exhibition and had a few artists and another photographer there keen to find out more, so thanks to people coming over for that.

This week I have lots of exciting stuff happening, including a trip to London with the lovely Jess and we will be working in a gallery, well its a mix of work and play, jess will be body-painting I will join in, take some photos then photograph and enjoy the night! The following day is the private view, and again equally as excited about that! Hope people remember to come!

Off to get my thinking cap on.....X
