Yoga and Sound Rejuvenator – A short film

“..Every sound is vibration and vibration touches every cell in our body, every sound that has loving intention is a healing sound … therefore we not only hear sound, we feel it physically, emotionally and soulfully.” Anne Malone

Today I’m flying low and I’m
not saying a word
I’m letting all the voodoos of ambition sleep.

The world goes on as it must,
the bees in the garden rumbling a little,
the fish leaping, the gnats getting eaten.
And so forth.

But I’m taking the day off.
Quiet as a feather.
I hardly move though really I’m traveling
a terrific distance.

Stillness. One of the doors
into the temple.

Yoga and Sound Rejuvenator – A charitable event for Broadbottom Pre-School.

On the 25th January, here in my home village of Broadbottom people gathered together to help me raise funds for my daughter’s preschool. Many people who came had never practised yoga with me before, nor had they been to a soundbath. They came with open minds and hearts and donated £250 between them!

This was a very special evening combining a yoga practice which explored our inner vibrations of the breath through to the outer vibrations of sound and music.

We have made a short film from the event to give you a feel of what happened through yoga, sound and receptivity, this was a soundscape experience unique to us all. Thanks to Pauline for sharing her music in this unique way, and thank you so much to everyone who came.

Filmed by Roscoe Rutter.
