We are all the leaves of one tree. We are all the waves of one sea.
Space at Tyddyn Siarl sets the scene for a tranquil retreat encompassing yoga, creativity, nature and wellness. Located within the picturesque village of Llanberis in Snowdonia, the area was recently granted Unesco World Heritage status because of its natural beauty and stunning backdrop of Welsh slate.
Surrounded by nature, yoga immersions will offer time and space to pause through a bespoke programme designed to restore and re-energise, provide balance and calm. Inspired by creativity and the rich philosophy of yoga expect mindful, movement-based practices, visualisation and centring techniques, breath-work, sound and deep stillness
Expect transformative day and weekend retreats which will truly nourish and re-invigorate body, breath and mind. We hope that you leave feeling stronger, clearer, relaxed and renewed.
Through thematic inquiry I will invite you to deepen your personal knowledge and unique understanding of the practice of yoga. This retreat will be made accessible to those with prior experience of yoga as well as anyone who may be new to the practice. The approach may also appeal to anyone interested in mindfulness, and other movement-based practices as well as yoga.
There will be a safe, group environment for all practice sessions to include:
We offer you an opportunity to press pause, as we find time and space to restore and nurture ourselves, form friendships, and enjoy this peaceful time together in a beautiful location.
Whilst props, chairs and walls are available for support during our sessions together I ask that you are able to move from the ground and back up again without assistance in order to be able to participate in this retreat. Please also bring a yoga mat, block or cushion, and an additional blanket for extra comfort.
Included in the retreat is a delicious, vegetarian lunch along with light refreshments throughout the day including hot and cold drinks. Please advise of any dietary requirements.
All sessions will be within our new, spacious, purpose-built studio: Space at Tyddyn Siarl. We can’t wait to welcome you!
A popular tourist destination attracting visitors near and far, Llanberis lies at the heart of Snowdonia – a magnet for keen, intrepid hikers, through to those seeking adventure on the water at Llyn Padarn. There are paths directly to the summit of Yr Wyddfa (Snowdon) within 500 meters of LLanberis Retreats, along with a less arduous and more relaxing option, courtesy of the famous Snowdonia Mountain Railway. Hop aboard the train and enjoy the view as you head to the highest mountain in England and Wales.
Within the village itself are many cafes, and eateries along with more specialist hiking and outdoor equipment shops.
Set en-route to the Llanberis Pass and within the beauty of the Welsh Slate Mountains, recently granted Unesco World Heritage status, Space at Tyddyn Siarl was created after a recent renovation of a family home to combine a traditional cottage feel with modern architecture. Llanberis Retreats is surrounded by trees and looks out towards the slate mountains.
The ground floor spaces merge with the outdoors as bi-folding doors open onto two beautiful traditional Welsh slate sundecks.
All guests have access to communal areas including upper and ground floor access throughout LLanberis Retreats, the link space into the main cottage along with use of living room and both kitchen areas.
Equipment; there will be a small selection of clean mats and further props available, should you need to borrow them during your time here. Allow plenty of time for your journey. There are major road links connecting to Llanberis along with train services into Bangor and bus routes too.
There are lots of short local walks as well as longer hikes to Yr Wyddfa (Snowdon) and its surrounding hills should you wish to extend your stay. There are also companies in Llanberis offering guided hikes as well as watersports for Llyn Padarn.

I recently attended a yoga workshop with Helen. She is so calm, open and knowledgable. A true Yogi. I would highly recommend a class or workshop for anyone interested in finding out more about the amazing benefits of yoga.
