Yoga Classes

I ask that you enjoy and deeply honour yourselves during the time you have set aside to practice yoga! You will be expected to be able to move from the ground up and back down again with ease on your own*. These classes is not suitable for anyone with a major illness or injury.

What you will need to bring

Please remember to bring your own mat! You may also find it useful to have other props available such as a cushion and blanket, bolster or block. If you don’t have a yoga mat please contact me in advance and I will provide a clean one for your use.

Yoga for self care – Streamed via Zoom

Thursdays 1.30pm – 2.30pm

Join me on Zoom for a ‘Yoga for Self Care’ live online class. An hour long session incorporating gentle flowing sequences, supported by and integral to the breath. This session is designed to re-invigorate your postural and physical awareness, whilst offering the space and time for you to cultivate greater levels of focus and to experience stillness and relaxation.

 

I will draw upon seasonal and creative influences as a means to really nurture and establish ourselves more readily within the practice.

OneLove

Food for all – One Love – A charitable event

Saturday 19th December – 12.30pm

This Christmas I’m helping to raise funds for FareShare Midlands as part of a larger charitable event ran by Yoga practitioners, friends and teachers at Yoga Leicester.

 

Zoë and Gary have reached out to friends and practitioners across the UK to bring you a day of heartfelt practices including yoga, reiki, reflexology, nutrition and family yoga. Most of these sessions are taking place via Zoom but some practitioners will be offering their services in person too. There are some truly wonderful offerings, here’s the full schedule…

 

There is a suggested donation of £10 per practice session but also appreciate any donation you can give whether great or small. For each £1 donated four meals will be delivered people living in food poverty. Surely this is worth it?

 

You can join me live on the 19th at 12.30pm for an hour of yoga themed around the Winter Solstice. The end of the year provides us with an opportunity to pause, to re-evaluate what is nurturing us fully, so that we can move through to 2021 feeling a little more hopeful and brighter in ourselves. As always expect a breath-centred practice, including experiential movement and sequencing as well as some much needed time for reflection and relaxation.

 

Ensure you wear comfortable clothing, have space to move freely and any props you may need in order to make this an accessible practice.

Online Class Passes…

Flexi4 and Flexi8 online class passes

Pay for a block of Online Classes. Flexi4 offers four classes for £32, Flexi8 offers eight classes (get 8 classes for the price of 7) for £56.

 

Passes are valid for 90 days from date of purchase. No refunds are available.

Integral to the breath

Expect all classes to be supported by and integral to the breath and to take the form of a moving meditation. All sessions are taken slowly and mindfully. We begin by settling and tuning into ourselves, relaxing the body and mind and noticing our starting point, so that as we move through the session we have a greater awareness of the positive changes that arise as a result of our practice. Allow these sessions to help with releasing deeply held bodily tensions.

Seasonal themes

Each session will include seasonal themes introducing insights towards our inherent connection with nature, creativity and the seasons. We will explore this through visualisation and imagination as we step into standing postures, kneeling work, lying and some seated meditative practices too.

Refund Policy

Please understand that we are unable to offer refunds for online classes, and all purchases are final. Should Helen Roscoe Yoga have to cancel an online class for unforeseen circumstances you will receive a credit for your next class.
